Odessa Playhouse Childcare is a State of Ohio licensed Type B Family Child Care Provider, operating under the standards of the Ohio Department of Children and Youth (DCY). Our program follows all required health, safety, training, and background check regulations to ensure a safe environment for every child.
Program Status.
Odessa Playhouse is currently in the pre-opening and enrollment preparation phase, with an anticipated opening in December 2026. During this time, we are finalizing facility readiness, staffing, and enrollment planning.

Our daily routines support early learning through literacy, foundational math, social-emotional development, and creative hands-on play. This approach helps children build confidence, curiosity, and strong school-readiness skills using STEM curriculum.
Transportation Planning
As Odessa Playhouse grows, we plan to explore transportation options through compliant partnerships and approved vendors. Any transportation services will be implemented only after meeting all required safety, insurance, and regulatory standards.
Our Teachers
Our teachers are qualified, experienced professionals who are passionate about working with children. Through ongoing training and professional development, they stay up to date with best practices to ensure every child receives safe, nurturing, and high-quality care.
Growth & Expansion Plan
Odessa Playhouse currently operates as a licensed Type B program, allowing us to provide personalized attention and a safe learning environment. As community demand grows, we plan to transition to a Type A licensed program once facility, licensing, and funding requirements are met. This expansion will allow us to serve more families while maintaining the trusted standards our community deserves.
